23.2.204 COORDINATION (1) Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies will make every good faith effort to notify the appropriate law enforcement agencies concerning active investigations. (2) Notification to the appropriate law enforcement agencies is intended to avoid duplication of effort and to ensure maximum coordination among various law enforcement agencies in the state of Montana.
