NOTICE OF ADOPTION

 

TO: All Concerned Persons

 

1. On January 12, 2024, the Department of Public Health and Human Services published MAR Notice No. 37-1055 pertaining to the public hearing on the proposed adoption of the above-stated rule at page 38 of the 2024 Montana Administrative Register, Issue Number 1.

 

2. The department has adopted NEW RULE I (37.34.2901) as proposed.

 

3. The department has thoroughly considered the comments and testimony received. A summary of the comments received, and the department's responses are as follows:

 

COMMENT #1: One commenter expressed support and appreciation for this rulemaking.

 

RESPONSE #1: The department appreciates the commenter's support.

 

COMMENT #2: One commenter asked if a request for proposals will be posted on the DPHHS eMACS system.

 

RESPONSE #2: The department will provide further information and instructions about the request for proposals process for the autism grant program.  It currently plans for proposals to be submitted through Submittable.com.  The applicant would be required to create an account and search for the Autism Facilities Grant Program by clicking the "Discover" button on the top of the screen.  Creating an account with Submittable is free, and there is no cost for applying through Submittable.  Due to the timing of filing this adoption notice, the deadline for submitting proposals has been extended to May 6, 2024.
