AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED REPEAL AND AMENDMENT

 

            TO:  All Concerned Persons

 

            1.  On September 10, 2009, the Department of Justice published MAR Notice No. 23-12-212, pertaining to the public hearing on the proposed repeal and amendment of the above-stated rules at page 1535 of the 2009 Montana Administrative Register, Issue No. 17.

 

2.  The Department of Justice will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who wish to participate in this public hearing or need an alternative accessible format of this notice.  If you require an accommodation, contact the department no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 27, 2009, to advise us of the nature of the accommodation that you need.  Please contact Kathy Stelling, Department of Justice, 215 North Sanders, P.O.             3.  The location of the public hearing has been changed, and the date of the hearing is being extended to give interested persons additional time to review the proposed changes. 

 

            4.  On November 10, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., the Department of Justice will hold a public hearing at the Fire Prevention and Investigation Section, 2225 Eleventh Avenue, Helena, Montana, to consider the proposed repeal and amendment of the above-stated rules.

            5.  Concerned persons may submit their data, views, or arguments either orally or in writing at the hearing.  Written data, views, or arguments may also be submitted to J. Stuart Segrest, Department of Justice, 215 North Sanders, P.O.
