(1) No particular order or forms of records is prescribed by the regulations in this part. However, every employer who is subject to any of the provisions of the Montana Minimum Wage Law, is required to maintain records containing the information and data required by the specific sections of this part.
(2) Scope of regulations.
(a) The regulations in this subsection contain the requirements applicable to all employers employing covered employees, including the general requirements relating to the posting of notices, the preservation and location of records, and similar general provisions. This subsection also contains the requirements applicable to employers of employees to whom the minimum wage provisions of section 39-3-404 MCA and the overtime pay provisions of section 39-3-405 MCA apply.
