(1) Baccalaureate engineering or engineering technology programs accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or equivalent curricula as approved by the board shall meet the educational requirement.

(2) The board will make a list available that shows the Montana schools offering surveying curricula acceptable to the board. All course credits acceptable as transferable to the surveying curricula of any school approved by the board will be acceptable by the board when transfer is accomplished by the applicant.
